Amerhart, an SBP Brand is currently hiring for a Branch Manager for our West Salem, WI Amerhart facility. The role of Branch Manager in wholesale distribution involves overseeing the operations and management of a specific branch or location within a larger wholesale distribution company.
    • Leadership and Team Management:
      • Provide strong leadership and Guidance to branch staff, including Inside Sales Representatives, Warehouse personnel, and administrative staff.
      • Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and prove coaching and mentoring to ensure the team meets or exceeds targets.
      • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among staff members.
    • Sales and Customer Service:
      • In coordination with the Regional Sales Manager, develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for the branch.
      • Monitor sales activities, rack progress, and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, identify new business opportunities and ensure best in class customer experience.
      • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to effectively serve our customers.
    • Operational Management:
      • Oversee all operational aspects of the branch, including inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
      • Ensure efficient and timely processing of customer orders, deliveries, resolution of service issues and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
      • Optimize operational processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall branch performance.
      • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure compliance.
    • Financial Management:
      • Prepare and manage the branch budget, monitor expenses, and analyze financial reports to track profitability and identify areas for cost control.
      • Review and approve pricing, discounts, and credit terms in accordance with company guidelines.
      • Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
    • Relationship Management:
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and other external partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply chain management.
      • Collaborate with other branch managers and company executives to share best practices, align strategies, and drive overall company success.
      • Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations, address complaints, and resolve issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Compliance and Safety:
      • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to wholesale distribution, including safety and environmental regulations.
      • Conduct regular safety audits, promote a culture of safety awareness, and take appropriate measures to address any safety concerns or incidents.
    • Required Skills & Qualifications
      • Sales and customer service skills with a track record of achieving goals.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Solid understanding of wholesale distribution operations, logistics, and inventory management.
      • Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
      • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
      • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
      • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
      • Proven experience in leadership role within wholesale distribution or a related industry.
      • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field (preferred)
